Insurance, explained the way a friend would.

I'm Mohit. I help Canadians understand cash-benefit insurance — whether you work for yourself, work for someone else, or spend your weekends on a trail. What it is, when it makes sense, and when it honestly doesn't.

A quick reality check

What would time off work cost you?

If an injury kept you off work, your bills would keep coming. Use one quick number, or add up your bills line by line. Nothing is saved or sent anywhere.

How do you want to estimate?
Everything you pay in a normal month.
$ per month
How long would you be off work?
Your monthly bills $2,000
Bills over 1 month off $2,000 About $462 for every week you can't work.

A rough estimate of your expenses only — not a quote or a benefit amount.

Talk it through with me

Cash benefits, simply

Something happens. You claim. The money goes to you.

01

Life throws something at you

A fall on the job site, a ski accident, a hospital stay, a diagnosis nobody plans for.

02

You make a claim

If it's covered by your plan, you send in your claim. I'll help if you get stuck.

03

Cash is paid to you

Not to a hospital. Use it for rent, groceries, the car payment — your call.

What I can help with

Six kinds of coverage, in plain English.

You don't need all of them. Most people need one or two — we'll work out which together. Tap any one to see how it works.

Have a job? This is for you too

Get paid if you're hurt doing what you love.

Workplace coverage generally looks after injuries on the job. A weekend hike, a hockey game or a trip across the border is usually on you. Accident coverage can pay cash to you when you're hurt off the clock — at home, on the trail, or travelling in Canada and the US.

Covers all activities, in Canada and the US. Benefit amounts depend on the plan you choose — I'll walk you through yours.

Hiking & camping Skiing & snowboarding Hockey & rec leagues Cricket, soccer & basketball Cycling & mountain biking Gym & running Road trips & US travel Fishing, boating & kayaking Bungee jumping & ziplining Rock climbing Slips, falls & DIY at home Playing with the kids

Family plans

Cover the whole family. Every kid, one price.

One plan can cover you, your partner and your kids. The price is the same whether you have one child or five — adding more kids costs nothing extra.

Ask about family coverage
1 child Same monthly price
3 children Same monthly price
5 children Same monthly price
7 or more Same monthly price

Kids can be added up to age 17, and they stay covered until age 25.

The honest answer

Is this actually for you?

Probably a good fit if…

You're self-employed, a contractor or in the trades
You have a job, but want cash if you're hurt outside of work
You play sports, hike, travel or love an adrenaline rush
Your family relies on your income
You live in Alberta, BC or Ontario, where I'm licensed

Probably not for you if…

You live outside Alberta, BC or Ontario — I'm only licensed to help residents of those provinces
You're looking for dental or prescription coverage — that's not what these plans do
You already have strong coverage and savings for months off — I'll tell you if you don't need more

How a chat with me goes

A conversation, not a pitch.

If nothing makes sense for you, I'll say so. You'll still leave knowing more than you did.

  1. 01You pick a time. Evenings and weekends are fine — I work with people who work.
  2. 02We talk about your work, hobbies and family. What you do — on the job and off it — changes what you qualify for and what's worth having.
  3. 03You get clear options and real numbers. Then you take your time. No chasing.

Questions people ask me

Will you pressure me to buy something?+

No. The call is to help you understand your options. If something fits, great. If it doesn't, that's a fine outcome too.

I have a job with benefits. Do I still need this?+

Maybe not — it depends on what your work coverage includes. Many people find gaps for injuries off the job, during travel, or for how long income support lasts. Bring your benefits booklet and we'll look together.

Am I covered if I'm hurt in the US?+

Yes. Your coverage applies in Canada and the US. Keep in mind it pays cash to you — it isn't a replacement for travel medical insurance, which pays hospital bills abroad.

Isn't this covered by provincial health care?+

Provincial health care helps with treatment. It doesn't pay your rent while you recover. These plans sit on top of it and pay cash to you.

Does my job or hobby affect what I can get?+

Yes. Your occupation and activities affect eligibility and which coverage gives you the most value. It's the first thing we'll look at.

How much does it cost?+

Plans start from less than the cost of a meal out each month. Your exact price depends on your age, your work and what you choose — I'll show you real numbers on our call.

Can I cover my partner and kids?+

Yes. One family plan can cover you, your partner and your kids — and the price is the same whether you have one child or five. Kids can be added up to age 17 and stay covered until 25.

Can we talk in Hindi?+

Of course. हाँ, बिल्कुल — whichever language makes it easier to ask your questions.
